We have developed a new feature - the opportunity to become a police officer!
As you know, robberies sometimes occur in the city, either a passenger robs a taxi driver, or a taxi driver robs a passenger, or a taxi driver robs a taxi driver.
Until now, these cases were handled by the old police, heartlessly issuing fines to everyone whom they could reach with their greedy paws.
But it's time for the ossified city apparatus to renew itself and accept new blood - taxi drivers!
So, what kind of Police is this?
Every taxi driver can now become a policeman!
1. How does the police work?
When a robbery occurs in the City, the police receive a new order for the amount of the robbery.
For completing an order, the Policeman gets 100% for himself and an additional 50% is returned to the Police Station.
2. Where do the funds from catching robbers go?
There are only three types of orders:
- Hackwork - these are robbed taxi drivers. The funds are withdrawn.
- Regular - these are robbed passengers. The funds are sent to the PS.
- Elite - these are robberies of players by players. Funds are received at the PS.
3. How often do orders for the Police appear?
Immediately after a robbery has occurred!
The number of police officers is limited, and the number of robberies significantly exceeds the capabilities of the police.
Even if all the police officers catch all the robbers day and night - their number will not decrease much...
4. I was robbed, will the Police help me?
Yes! The police will return up to 50% of everything stolen over the past 3 days.
As soon as the policeman catches your robber, you will see this information in the "I was robbed!" block
5. How to become a policeman?
Sign up for recruitment, go through the selection, and if you are lucky - you will become a Policeman!
The more forms you fill out - the higher the chance of getting the coveted car!
A police car cannot be sold or hired by a company.
This car is given for a period of one week. After this time, the car will go for maintenance.
6. What if I am the robber?
If you robbed your passenger or another taxi driver, the police will be able to catch you!
The police will have an order created, after which they will automatically impose a fine on you, as the old police used to do.
The difference is that the police used to impose fines with a certain probability, but now - other players do it.
The new police also have a probability that the robber will leave, the chance is 10%.
7. I want to rob, but I don't want to pay fines!
If you can negotiate with the Police, you can avoid fines.
But keep in mind that although the Policeman sees the robber's login, part of the login is hidden by asterisks.
7. And then?
In the near future, the Police will be allowed to:
- Inspect drivers: check for licenses, for exceeding the number of licenses
- Inspect companies: check for debtors, for exceeding the number of employees
- Inspect for payment of taxes / fines / salaries
- Arrest company accounts / impose a fine in the event of a violation

- We have carried out a number of optimizations on the game, simplified some mechanisms, got rid of some
- Due to this, the site's speed has increased slightly.
- Double write-offs: detected and eliminated double write-offs for various actions (purchase of a license, upgrade, etc.)
- Added new achievements: contests, sweepstakes, buildings

Corrections for rent
- We fixed the problem with some car owners not getting their security deposit back.
The deposit was returned to everyone, the problem is fixed. - Incorrect display of the rental cost: an error about insufficient funds when renting a car.
- An error when displaying whether the terms of the contract have been met; previously, in order to meet the terms of the minimum amount of funds, it was necessary to meet it only on one of the days.
In addition to the above, we have carried out a huge amount of work to bring the project
into a more stable and working form (in professional jargon - refactoring).
Refactoring does not directly bring any new functions/features,
but thanks to it, the project can develop further without becoming overgrown with crutches.
It's like a scheduled maintenance for a taxi, old parts are replaced with new ones, ancient ailments are eliminated, new "air filters" are screwed on, etc.
