Dear taxi drivers, today's update will affect businesses. We have made some changes to the operation of City 2.0 companies, they will be of interest primarily to company owners. We just want to say that it was our fault that this was not done right away. We have also improved the daily bonus and added a special set to protect against MAXs!
You probably know that when receiving a service from a company, the owner receives 80% of the cost of the service, and the project takes only 20% of the commission. When we planned and launched the service of personal companies (car service, licensed company, construction company), we expected that the size of the commission and the sale of new businesses would balance each other out and would not create an unnecessary burden on the project as a whole.
Unfortunately, this turned out to be not quite so. We made a key mistake: we allowed services to be provided (for example, maintenance) without spending any funds. That is, the company spends 0 rubles to perform maintenance on both a level 1 car and a level 8 taxi. The company earns 100% of the money without spending a penny on providing the service. Moreover, it can be one service, or it can be 100 services - the company still does not spend anything.
Due to the fact that the company does not bear any expenses when providing services, there was no real competition! All companies set the minimum acceptable prices and offer additional bonuses. This leads to two problems:
1) users receive services at minimum prices (taxi drivers certainly like this), that is, at prices that are noticeably less than those included in the game's economy,
2) funds do not remain in the project, but are withdrawn through business owners.
Problem solution - crystal consumption
Now any service in the company consumes crystals. For example, to perform maintenance, the car service account must have a sufficient amount of crystals to provide the service. If there are not enough crystals, the service cannot be provided. Due to this update, owners will not be able to set minimum prices for their services, which are in fact unprofitable, and real competition will appear. The weak will leave, the strong will take up more of the market. Crystals are consumed equally, regardless of the method of payment for the service. It does not matter from which account the service was paid. Crystals will be written off from the company equally. The amount of crystals consumed is equal to the base cost of the service (for maintenance, this is 50% of the car), multiplied by 1000, minus 20%. That is, the business "buys" this service with a 20% discount from the project and sells it to the taxi driver with such a markup as it deems necessary.
From now on, the game will be more interesting: who will squeeze who out? For example, you can reduce prices in the short term, working at a loss for some time and finishing off competitors by the fact that they have no clients, but constant costs are still present in the form of rent. And as soon as competitors close, raise prices so as to recoup everything previously invested. New strategic maneuvers are appearing. Looking a little ahead, we will say that we also plan to make it possible to reduce prices for certain users (a la by acquaintance) and make short-term price reductions / increases (promotions).
Daily bonus
Now the bonus is given not only to the purchase account, but also to three additional accounts: withdrawal, crystals and energy. In addition to the main bonus credited to the purchase account, you can randomly get up to three more bonuses at a time.
